Thank you for submitting your review! It will be reviewed by our staff before it is posted.Hey. Girls, that's must have product who suffer from acne, pimples, break outs, blackheads. I used to use the best seller 2%bha liquid, resist anti aging 2%liquid, but this one is incredibly product. I have been using it for a week. Its was a bit drying. But my skin is much much better. My skin has been recovering from horrible breakouts. Thanks Paula's Choice.
Customer Care: Thank you for your review. Great that it is working for you! Please be informed that this is identical to the Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant, just in different packaging.I have battled acne my whole life and really tamed it all over my face except for my jaw area. Every month I would have these persistent hormonal acne on mostly the right side of my chin and jawline - while the rest of my skin looked amazing! I am so glad to say that this product has gotten rid of that completely. I actually don't use this on my whole face. I don't use a cotton pad - I take a little bit on my finger and just put it on my jawline and chin area, where I need it the most. I do this morning and evening, and I have gone through a whole menstrual cycle without hormonal acne! Amazing. I use a muslin cloth for cleansing before I put this on, which really gets rid of all the tiny oil trapped around there. I used to use the Paula's Choice skin perfecting bha liquid (back when it was in the white bottle) and that really burned my skin. I have sensitive skin so I have to be careful. This bha exfoliant though is SO gentle and so effective. It has not irritated my skin once. So I would definitely recommend this gel over the other one if you are a little bit sensitive to strong ingredients.I have tried other BHA fluids from other brands. But this is the best of them all. Especially because there are no niaciamide in it. My skin breaks out when I use niaciamide/B3 vitamin.
It minimizes pores, fights acne, removes blackheads - and take away any dullness. And is great against Rosacea.
My acne is severe. So I have to use this product both mornings and night. But it has made a big difference.

LOVE THIS PRODUCT!This was the first PC product that I really fell for and that has made the biggest visual change for me. Definitely helps shrink the looks of pores and clears breakout and post breakout marks quicker! Highly recommend!
What are the key ingredients?
Green Tea Extract
Possess potent antioxidant and skin-soothing properties and has impressive research in terms of its many benefits for skin, including anti-ageing properties.
Can enhance the absorption of ingredients such as salicylic acid. It also has hydrating properties that can leave a smooth, dewy finish on skin.
Primarily an exfoliant, helps to shed dead skin on the surface and inside the pore, therefore effective for reducing breakouts and blackheads. It also has soothing properties.
Aqua, Methylpropanediol (hydration), Butylene Glycol (hydration), Salicylic Acid (exfoliant), Polysorbate 20 (texture-enhancing), Camellia Oleifera (Green Tea) Leaf Extract (skin-soothing/antioxidant), Tetrasodium EDTA (stabilizer), Sodium Hydroxide (pH balancer).
Good to know before you start:
It is best to gradually build up use of a BHA product, starting to use it a couple of times a week only. If there is no adverse reaction, this may be increased to every other day at night and then, if you wish, every night. Some people increase use to twice daily (morning and night), but it really all depends on the condition of your skin. You need to experiment a bit to see what suits you best. During the day, always use a moisturiser with a broad-spectrum sunscreen rated SPF 30 or greater. Your skin will in fact be slightly more sensitive to sunlight when using an exfoliant, so the chance of sunburn and sun damage is slightly higher.
Is there another Paula's Choice product which is similar to the Clear Extra Strength Anti-Redness Solution Exfoliating 2% BHA?
Our Clear Extra Strength Anti-Redness Solution Exfoliating 2% BHA has the same formula to our Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant.
What is the difference between the Clear Regular Strength and Extra Strength Anti-Redness Exfoliating Solution?
The difference between the Clear Regular Strength and Extra Strength exfoliant is mainly in the texture and the rate of absorption. While both products contain 2% salicylic acid, the Regular Strength has an lighter, water-like formula and is milder with a slightly higher pH than the Extra Strength. The Extra Strength penetrates faster into the pores and has a lower pH which effectively battles stubborn break outs.
Refreshing cleansing gel gently removes excess oil, debris and pore-clogging impurities.
Water-light fluid minimises the appearance of pores and protects skin from the sun.
This oil-free night cream moisturises acne-prone skin without clogging pores or making breakouts worse.
