Thank you for submitting your review! It will be reviewed by our staff before it is posted.I got a full sized tube as a bonus gift, unfortunately it doesn't work for me. It seems really soothing at first, but it starts to come off the skin in small pieces after 10 min.
Customer Care: Hi Ana, thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are sorry to hear this didn't work as expected for you. We will pass along your feedback to our Product Development team!I recieved a sample of this mask because I needed a hydrating and soothing mask for my senstive skin. Sadly it started to sting and burn as soon as I applied it to my face, and left my skin red and sore. :( Luckily it was only a sample, and I have tried other masks from PC which works much better with my sensitive skin.
I rated it with 2 stars because of the creamy consistency and no perfume.I recieved a sample from this mask and tried it twice. Both times it made my sensitive skin burn and sting. It makes the skin really soft though and seames to work well for many others.I use them for my night moisturizer, following cleanser (I use different cleanser)-toner and feels that it hydrates my skin well.I put this on exclusively on my cheeks and chin, because my nose and forehead tends to get slightly oily and yes it's nice product, but nothing really special. I had few samples so I didn't use it longterm, but it seems to me, that the oil booster works on my dry areas lot better. I wouldn't spend money on the whole tube, if you get dry skin from time to time, just get few samples as an emergency and keep it at hand. But the Clinique or Avene hydrating masks do exactly the same trick. This mask is a massive disappointment. It is like slathering a thick layer of plastic on my face. It does not sink into the skin, it balls up and most of all does not moisturise my skin at all. I tried to use it only for 10 minutes and tissue off and it does not do anything. The worst performance is if I leave it on overnight: I wake up with a thick layer of balled up "plastic" on my face and the skin is super dull. I threw it in the bin. Plain bad purchase. My favorite night cream so far. Have used it for a year now every day. use a very much in the evening and in the morning I use a little less under my sun cream, which is alba botanica very emolient sunscreen spf 30th.
My skin is not so oily any more and my skin does not feel so dry and tight anymore.
So thank you :)lovely thick moisturizer but unfortunately, whether used in a thin or thick layer, it balls up and comes off the skin - not an attractive look!
V disappointing indeed - I wanted a richer moisturizer to use at night in the winter and thought this would work perfectly.I have combination skin, I wear contact lenses and have been looking for a cream for my dry skin around eyes that would not irritate my eyes. This mask works perfectly! I never use it as mask for the entire face though, but every day, morning and evening I apply it as an eye cream and sometimes on my cheeks. Perfect! An excellent overnight treatment, but also during cold and windy days... I use it even under make-up and often to treat my skin on a daily basis during the winter. I have to try it in summer too.... I'll let you know. Don't think twice, this product is a new addiction.

Frequently asked questions
For best results, how often do I need to use Skin Recovery Hydrating Treatment Mask?
Skin Recovery Hydrating Treatment Mask can be used as often as needed. How often you use it depends on your skin type and personal preference. Those with normal skin can use this mask once per week. Those with dry skin will enjoy using this mask more frequently, preferably 2–3 times per week, with one of those times being enjoyed as an overnight treatment. Someone with very dry, dehydrated skin should use this mask (or a very emollient moisturiser) once per day, morning or evening, until his or her dryness has improved.
What is the difference between Skin Recovery Hydrating Treatment Mask and Paula's moisturisers for normal to very dry skin? Couldn't I just use Skin Recovery Moisturizer as a moisturising mask?
Skin Recovery Hydrating Treatment mask has a thicker, creamier texture than Paula's Choice nighttime moisturisers. Since it is meant to be used as a mask (occasionally being left on the skin overnight if the customer prefers or their skin needs this), it has a more slippery, emollient feel than most moisturisers.
