Frequently asked questions

Can I use Sunscreen Spray Broad Spectrum SPF 43 on my face?

You can use the Sunscreen Spray Broad Spectrum SPF 43 on your face; however, we do not want anyone to spray sunscreen directly on their face. Instead, spray it into the palm of one hand, and use clean fingers on your other hand to dab and apply to your face and neck. This sunscreen is suitable for use around the eyes, but as with all such sunscreens avoid applying to eyelids or beyond the undereye area’s orbital bone.

How do I know how much of this sunscreen to spray on?

As there’s no agreed-upon amount for spray-on sunscreens, there’s no solid answer that will be the same for everyone. For best results, you want to ensure that the areas being sprayed have an even, visible layer of sunscreen before blending. Spray one area of exposed skin at a time, blend, then move on to the next area. A light, haphazard mist won’t provide enough protection, so do take the time to blend this uniformly and, if in doubt, spray on a bit more!

Is Sunscreen Spray Broad Spectrum SPF 43 suitable for breakout-prone skin?

Although it is impossible to state with certainty that someone will not break out from a sunscreen, because Paula’s Choice Sunscreen Spray Broad Spectrum SPF 43 contains lightweight ingredients it is unlikely to trigger or exacerbate breakouts.
